Cancellation and Refund Policy
Version 1.0 · In effect on October 17, 2026
The French version of this document was written first. In case of a difference, the French version prevails.
The ExamenCompagnon monthly subscription has an indeterminate term. You may cancel it at any time, with no fee or penalty. The 4-month pass does not renew: there is nothing to cancel. This policy is part of the Terms of Use.
1. How to cancel
- In Settings, Billing, choose "Cancel my subscription", then confirm. It takes two clicks at most. One optional offer may be shown to you; you can ignore it.
- Or write to [email protected] with the email address of your account.
You receive an email confirmation with the date your access ends.
2. When cancellation takes effect
Cancelling stops the subscription from renewing. Access to paid content continues until the end of the period already paid, then ends. Your account, your results and the free level stay available.
3. No refund for the current period
The period already started is not refunded: you keep access until it ends. After you cancel, nothing more is charged. We keep no cancellation fee or indemnity.
4-month pass: no renewal, nothing to cancel
The 4-month pass is paid once and does not renew. There is therefore nothing to cancel and no other amount will be charged. Access ends at the end of the 4 months, on the date shown in Settings, Billing and in the email that delivers your contract copy. The period paid is not refunded.
4. Contract copy not delivered
If we do not give you a copy of the contract within 15 days after it is made, you may cancel it within the periods set by the Consumer Protection Act, and we refund the amounts paid within 15 days.
5. If we are late refunding
If, in the case described in section 4, you paid by credit card and we do not refund you within the period above, you may ask your card issuer to reverse the charge (chargeback).
6. Reduced-price or pause offers
No promotion codes are offered at launch. If you accept a reduced price or a subscription pause, we send you a notice 2 to 10 days before that offer ends, with the price that will apply next. You may cancel before the regular price applies.
7. Price change
A price change is announced to you in writing at least 30 days in advance. You may then cancel at no cost: cancelling stops the renewal, as in section 2.
